And everything you need for your holiday can be found near the house. There is a supermarket nearby (Ting Wei Supermarket) which also has an ATM. Near the villa you will find bars, restaurants, a surf shop, a golf resort and tennis courts. One of the most beautiful beaches in Aruba – Palm Beach – is only 5 minutes away by car. Drive another 5 minutes, and you’re standing on the beautiful Eagle Beach with its special fofoti trees. Cas Topaz is the perfect place for your vacation on Aruba.
Explore the island by car: car rental on Aruba
We recommend that you rent a car during your vacation on Aruba, as it is the ideal way to discover the island. There are many beautiful sights on Aruba. For example, drive along the rugged north coast, discover the beautiful beaches or go to Arikok National Park, an impressive nature reserve with bays, beaches, hills, cactus forests and jagged rock formations. (Don't forget to ask the rental company if the rental car is suitable for this terrain.) You should definitely visit Hooiberg: a hill in the middle of the island. After climbing a long staircase, you'll arrive at the top where you will have a great view. In clear weather, you can even see Venezuela.

Water sport: snorkeling and diving during your vacation on Aruba
Cas Topaz is the perfect place to relax and unwind, but is also ideal if you prefer a more active vacation. The house is close to the beach, so it’s very suitable if you like swimming, snorkeling, diving, windsurfing, or kite surfing.
Diving or snorkeling in Aruba is a truly special experience. The water is nice and warm (about 27 ºC/81 ºF) and the visibility underwater is great because you can see more than 30 meters away. The best diving and snorkeling spots are on the west side of the island, where Cas Topaz is located. There are several wrecks of ships and aircraft that are spectacular to see, as are the beautiful coral reefs and tropical fish. At Tres Trapi the turtles have breakfast in the morning. Get up early to see this beautiful scene.
To make it easy for you, there are already beach towels and snorkeling gear waiting for you in the house. If you want to dive, you can go to one of the diving schools on the island, such as Palm Beach Divers or Red Sail Sports Aruba. For kite surfing you can go to Aruba Kitesurfing School, and for windsurfing to Windsurfing Aruba.

What do you need to arrange for your vacation on Aruba?
You don't have to arrange much for a vacation to Aruba, as long as you stay there for a maximum of 30 days. Travelers need a passport and a valid return ticket, and you have to fill out a landing card in advance: the ED card (Embarkation-Disembarkation Card). You do this online and it can be arranged up to 7 days before arrival. A visa is not required for tourists from the Netherlands, the US, Canada and certain countries in South America.
Besides the travel documents, you also have to take the currency into account. In Aruba you can pay with US dollars or the Aruban florin (AWG). You can exchange money at resorts and hotels, but it is cheaper to do it at a bank. Furthermore, you can withdraw dollars or florins at many ATMs with a foreign debit card. In most places, you can also pay with your debit or credit card.
